Earlier this month, Catherine Smyth of Ballyhoura Development, AquaCOM project lead, represented the project at the Interreg NWE Annual Event in Dublin, Ireland on 5-6 November 2024.

As the event was held in the historic Croke Park Stadium it was a fantastic opportunity to showcase this innovative Irish led Interreg NWE project and present to over 400 attendees from across North-West Europe.

The receptive audience were invited to discover how cooperation at transnational level can bring tangible change to people living in North-West Europe, and to hear firsthand about the potential impact of the AquaCOM Project. Catherine shared both the successes of the project so far as well as some of the challenges, hoping to inspire other attendees to follow the progress of the project and to embark on similar projects themselves with a view to discovering more ways communities can be empowered to get involved in the energy transition.

AquaCOM demonstrates how joint efforts can inspire sustainable change, amplify solutions, and make an impact. Join us to explore how these collective actions are shaping a more resilient future for our communities by signing up for our newsletter: AquaCOM project
