The Interreg NWE AquaCOM partner SPL BER (Local Public Company for wood and renewable energy) is participating in the upcoming RIM conference  this June, in Ouistreham (France). This event aims to become a showcase for French and European maritime know-how. As an AquaCOM pilot site, the SPL BER has been invited by the WaterWarmth consortium (Interreg North-Sea programme) to share its experiences and its support on the development of aquathermal energy in France. This conference offers us the opportunity to highlight the strides we have made and the invaluable lessons we have learned along the way.

Thanks to the collaboration with WaterWarmth, French pilots from both projects will showcase their strong and united ambitions to develop aquathermal energy systems in order to meet the needs of energy communities in France. The AquaCOM pilot features in a scientific paper that WaterWarmth wrote and submitted for this event.

One of the highlights of our involvement in this conference is the opportunity to give visibility to aquathermal energy pilots and share the transnational cooperation of both projects. This conference serves as a platform for knowledge exchange, bringing together experts, researchers, and practitioners from across France to discuss the latest advancements in aquathermal energy.

In the spirit of collaboration and shared learning, we look forward to engaging with fellow participants and contributing to the collective efforts, paving the way for a greener and self-reliant future.

Stay tuned for updates as we embark on this exciting journey at the RIM conference. Know more about the conference and the participants : Conference program.
